norths Squash Club is run by club members on a voluntary basis. Committee members are nominated and voted for by club members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is held each calendar year, usually in February.

Committee Role Descriptions
Club Patron:
Director of norths Club.
President:
Oversee & assist all committee members to carry out their duties.
Vice President:
Assist the President and ensure/maintain squash equipment and apparel. Ensure sufficient stock is available.
Secretary:
Manage communications with all members, maintain member lists and create minutes of meetings and distribute.
Club Captain:
To select and submit teams for participation in the NSW Squash affiliated pennants and manage internal competitions.
Vice Captain:
Assist Club Captain, manage court bookings.
Checker:
Ensure pennant result sheets are available prior to weekly pennant matches and maintain supply of blank scoresheets.
Social Secretary:
Arrange and co-ordinate all squash club social functions.
Sports Council Representative:
Liaise with the Sports Council and organise repairs and maintenance for squash courts.
Treasurer:
Manage budget, cashflow and financial reporting.
Masters Representative:
Manage masters competitions and submit masters teams.
Selector:
Assist with pennant team selection.
Web Manager:
Maintain the web site; ensure important dates and events are advertised.
Club Reporter:
Produce a monthly newsletter and provide updates on squash club activitiesÂ
